I was pretty sure the frame was the same but I noticed that the radiator supports are different. My rad support is bent so I was gonna replace it anyways should I replace it with one from an 09+??

So I compared two side by side the other day and I don't think you can just swap them, I don't think the headlights bolt in properly or have enough room. The radiator supports are different and the newer one attaches closer to the firewall.

Of course the headlights wil not work, but if you got everything off the 2nd gen, you should be fine

I know you need everything off the 2nd gen to even think it will work (as I stated in my previous posts in this thread). However compare these two pictures and look at where the headlights bolt onto the radiator support. The shape of the top of the rad support is different and I don't think the 2nd gen headlights would bolt to the 1st gen frame.
