      licence plate lights

      i wana replace the licence plate lights with some thing whiter and bluer, what are my options?


      Its more fun to drive a slow car fast, rather than drive a fast car slow!

      You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

      I replaced mine with blue LEDs and think it looks good...

      if you want blue, get blue LEDs, if you want white, get white LEDs, my suggestion is not getting the focused beam LED and getting yourself the one that points the light in different directions...

      I have a post about it somewhere...with the bulb numbers and where I got them from.

      from the "tag lights" post...dated 2-23-07

      After you take off the lens the bulb housing 1/4 turns out of the lens, the bulb sits inside the plug. It is a 194 wedge bulb.

      I put blue superbright leds in my side turn lights and tag light, they look great.

      I would suggest, if anyone else is thinking about this, the WLED-x5 LED Wedge Base Bulbs. They "fill out" the turn lens better and cast a better light on the plate.

      I did use the white WLED-x6 LED Wedge Base Bulbs for my city lights and they look ok...
