i wanna make Carbon fibre "eyelids"

i wanna make a "3d" type of eyelid to kinda protrude making the lights not so... bubbly but more aggressive(ps i own the equivelant to a 07 aveo)

so ive read on the forums somewhere of an easy How-to for carbon fibring stuff but i cant seem to find it again (go figure, ya want to auctually do it and you cant find it)

any help would be appreciated, as well as any hints and tricks aswell as any ideas and would love to here from someone who has auctually accomplished this

      cheers

so driving a Holden is it safe to assume you're in OZ?

I'll walk you through it but first take a couple pics of one of you headlights, print them out and draw what you have in mind. you would need a straight on and a side pic. then just scan them in and post them to the forum.

the long and short of it is that you will cover the headlights in aluminium foil, out of the car of course. then you will need to use EPOXY RESIN and ONE (maybe two) LAYER OF FIBERGLASS CLOTH and then ONE LAYER OF CARBON. from that point you can cut them to the shape/style you want. make sure that you have them painted with a UV clear coat or they will oxidize and get really ugly.
