      Horn not working

So the horn on my aveo doesn't work anymore. It works when you lock the car with the fab but doesn't when you push the buttons on the steering wheel. I'm leaning towards it being the switch as the fuse is not blown. Any suggestions?

you can test the relay and make sure the horn is working. There should be a click when you push on the steering wheel. If not then you will dig on the wires and test voltages. If there is a click then it can be downstream of the relay.
Please do not power off, firmware update pending.....

Best I remember reading , most cars have a " clock spring " mechanism to allow the steering wheel to rotate and srill maintain contact between the horn switch and the wiring down the steering column .

First , remove the battery cable , if it has an air bag . Then take the steering wheel apart and use an ohm meter to check to see if the switch works .

      God bless
