      Hey man...I stewed about this and need to apologize...

      When I said your hood deflector would look gay...maybe gay wasn't the right word...maybe out of place/awkward/I mean, you don't see many defelctors on cars (around here anyway). That is why i suggested the 3M paint protectant...I even had it put on my rocker panels and directly behind the front wheels on the fender because I heard guys here say they were getting stone chips in that area.

      I'm sure whatever you decide on will look good to you...we each have our own tastes...just trying to help a fellow Aveo owner.

      Now, in the words of the great admin from Jersey...I'm not gay but this is the best I could do for a hug

      No probs Mang!

      I have seen the 3M stuff on rocker panels and definilety worth it. I might do that.

      Did you install the 3M yourself?

      ya i had the hood deflector for my 07 sedan and it wasnt doing any good i continued to get more and more chips on the hood, so i just took it off. as for film for the rocker panels i need to do that to mine also. post it up if u find a good buy on the film or a how to?
