      I prefer manual locks, which is why I am happy with my 06 SVP.

      Is there a way to get rid of this safety lock? would much prefer to lock the car from the inside then close it. Its a pain in the butt with two kids to have to still have the keys in your hand once you are outside the car.

      Yeah, it's not that big of deal but I don't like not having a hand on my 2 year old in a walmart parking lot and I figured if it is as easy as two screws or something I would do it.

      I believe there is a how to on this. All you have to do is cut a little piece of the mecanism... IIRC.

      Sorry Rabbit, I miss understood. So what you are saying is I need to buy an 09? Yeah, the wife will love me for that!

      I did a search for the how to, but didn't come up with anything. I guess I'll suffer until the weather gets warm enough to yank the door panel.

      or just buy an 09 lock assembly. unless i broke mine.
