      carbon fiber hood questions

Hello - I've seen online a carbon fiber hood for the aveo, I read one of the older threads about carbon fiber hoods on this site, and one member said the CF hood is only for 07 and up cars. I have a 06 hatchback, but the site says it's compatible

also, how do you get the windshield fluid nozzles into the CF hood, or do you just not use windshield fluid? that would be a major turnoff for me, since that fluid comes handy in the winter.

first off, the cf hoods are backordered so dont plan on gettin one soon. second the nozzles just pop out of the hood and and seat right into the cf hood with no prob. the only issue i got with mine is i cant use my oem hood prop.
You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

      Re: carbon fiber hood questions

if you do enough digging through google, it seems there are a number of vendors that sell the cf hood for the aveo. The VIS-style hood seems to have a raised part in the middle, but then the other model looks more like OEM counterpart..... If I harass enough of the vendors, one of them ought to have it hanging around in the back closet somewhere .

it's such a shame to have to do such an easter-egg hunt for aveo performance parts. I put a aem cai on my car last weekend, it really improved the performance to the point where i'm hungry for more parts to see what else I can improve.

He is referring to an aftermarket original equipment cold air intake (aem cai). I know how he feels, just added one to mine (and some sweet led brake 1157's) and am hungry for more goodies! :P
