Blacking out badges... but quick quest first.

Hello Aveo community. I am undertaking my first of hopefully many mods to my '04 Aveo this weekend. Starting easy with a simple Badge Blackout. Anyways... the '04 Aveo has the front badge stuck on front of the horizontal 'chrome' bar... which are layed over top of the crossed black 'grille'. My question is... did anyone black out the silver bar too? I was considering it, but wouldn't mind hearing if anyone else did it too. Thanks!

What about the silver bar on the boot lip for the sedans? That would need to be painted right?
I'm looking to know how to do that

I'm not sure what you mean by "fishin gut," but to de-badge mine, I just used a blow dryer to heat up the glue, and a wedged a piece of floss behind the badge and essentially cut the glue. I have a 2010 Aveo, and the back badge had two prongs on the back of it that attach to two holes in the back of the car. So eventually I had to pry it off since the floss won't cut through the prongs - nor would I want it to.
