UNIVERSAL TURBO KIT

HI , I FOUND TWO UNIVERSAL TURBO KITS , I WANTED TO KNOW I KNOW THEY ARE CHEAP , PERHAPS ANY OF THIS WAS WORTHWILE SINCE IT'S NOT TOO EXPENSIVE REALLY, THANKS.

well you need to consider that this is a universal kit
so you will need a custom manifold fabricated the ideal would be a log manifold
and another pipe to go back to your exhaust

you will also need to fabricate some bracket for the intercooler
you might need some modification of the car itself
if you don't want to blow your engine the ideal would be to change the internal or you can add a spacer between your head and block to lower your compression ratio ( you will need 2 head gasket for this) any machine shop can make this for you if you bring them a head gasket

as for the price it's a pretty good start but you still think to about how much it will be for labour to install it in
all together you're looking at roughly $2000-$2500 all together
and since there's is no bolt on kit for the aveo it works out good

that's the average for a regular bolt on kit so i think you're still getting a good deal

unless u got some mad hookups, look at spending about 5 grand to boost the aveo.

Would this type of Turbo be too much for our Aveos?

they are not huge turbos, almost the size of the stock "sport" turbo on a vw, or audi..
