      Throttle body

just curious if only has tried boring or at least polishing their throttle body. My g/f is getting me a dremel for x-mas and I'm going to be pulling the TB off my jetta... perhaps if I can dig up a TB gasket for the aveo I'll see what can be done.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.

it won't help because the hole in the intake is the same size as the TB, and you can't bore the intake manifold because it is composite. I looked into years ago.

I might just polish it then and see what happens... the gasket is only like $2... worth a try.
