that is the SRI, you want the CAI instead, it will work regardless of filter size

i had that same one and then upgraded to a CAI, well worth that extra $20

you do not really need the k&n filter either

After doing a little more research, i found that theres a CIR that chromeintakes offers, that also has a k & n air filter. I think i should get that because k&n is very reliable and its only $85.99. What do you think?

might as well, filters dont make too much of a difference in the long run, but go for it, cant lose with k&n

you will be gald you bought one though

does not matter a whole bunch, but if you wanted to go above the call of duty then i would suggest synthetic oil

The links you had above are the ChromeIntakes that me, rabbit, and hunter have. (here's the link, even though I'm sure you already have it: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-2005- ... 756wt_1165 ) But like hunter said, go with cold air intake rather than with short ram intake that gets the hot air from the engine bay. I had both and you can definitely see the improvement going from SRI to CAI.

Spectre filter that's sold in every Autozone and Schucks/O'Riley's stores. They do have an aluminum version, but most of their stuff is molded plastic.

depends on year, if you have a first gen then it will but the 2nd gen does not have one yet, rabbit made one that works well out of an accord intake system (wild guess)...should be a thread though, or check his build page if you have that 2nd gen aveo/wave
