      T28 on a 1.6L

hey guys i have an 08 Barina / Aveo and a friend is giving me his t28. Has any one put one on the 1.6l. i know it will take a bit to spool but is it too big for a standard motor?

that is WAY too big. you can barely stuff a t4 turbo in aveos, and the engine has to be modified to hell so is doesn't blow up

You obviously do not know your turbos. T28s are tiny little turbos. They came on DSMs. And a T4 turbo is WAY to big for this engine. a t3/t4 is even pushing it.

Agreed. Maybe you should look into a small KKK turbo?

Good call. Any VW guy (I know one will chime in here soon) will tell you a K03 or K04 is TINY. They put them on 1.8t or put twins on 2.7 V6.

Yup my gf has an Audi Allroad 2.7T with twin K03's....... put on twin K04's, downpipes, exhaust and that's some nice easy power!

T28 turbo should be fine, but you should find out more specs if possible, because there are many different T28's out there.
