Ha. Today I go to start the car. All it did was grind and the car shuddered. Tried it a few times and gave up.
Later on I tried it, pushed it a little and it started.
I have no idea what happened. Flooded the engine somehow?

if you were making grinding noises when starting it sounds like maybe ur crank bearings?
Hmmm. Maybe I should give the dealer a call again in the morning.
Last thing I need is to get stuck somewhere.
possibilty of the starter solenoid not disengaging. or dead spot in the starter?
I'm having the same problem. Any idea where the solenoid is so that I can fix it myself?
If you're referring to the starter problem (grinding while attempting to start the car)... it on the starter itself, You'll have to remove it.
i say if its under warranty take it back to the dealership. that way the workmanship and parts are covered and its a registered problem with chevy for your vin#Quote:

yeah, what she said!!
I got the car back from the dealer. The problem was a bad brake lamp switch. Interesting since the brake lights were working. The thing was covered under warranty at least.
