      Help with clutch peddle

Just replaced stock clutch with Clutch Masters FX300. I helped my friend who has over 20 years mechanic experience. The peddle shifts at the floor and it seems Im driving on the synchros. Im going to bleed the crap out of the slave cylinder tomorrow, but does anyone know if there is a trick to adjusting the peddle in this thing? I saw the same problem in an old post with a 2010 n no one responded.

Pooh Man, I took a look at the Manuals I have, and here are the Specs that it has:

      Clutch Pedal Freeplay: 0.4-0.5 Inches

      Clutch Pedal Travel: 4.7-4.9 Inches

you adjust it by loosening the locknut and turning the Clutch Master Cylinder Pushrod until you pretty much get the specs I have listed.

well, I have been driving for a week and this clutch is getting better as it breaks in. The pedal has been adjusted, actually raising it about an inch to1 1/2 higher than the brake pedal-not ideal in heavy traffic. I guess this clutch was so damn thick compared to the stock disc that it threw everything off , it was shifting at the floor n now shifts out of first about an inch off of the floor. This is a lot of clutch for this car, but I bet this thing will last. This thing grabs fast n hard so I guess it is all good, but I should have spent the $ on other upgrades n replaced the clutch when it failed. Iguess Im happy its drivable again, but a simple FX200 would have been a better choice, but neither one is cheap
