      engine cover help.....

      ok i got 2 screws out....the others r now stripped...they are the stupid 3/16 size allen wrench screws....i dont know how to get them out now!!

      Go to Sears Craftmen makes a striped out screw set it's got 3 sizes and one will work on the hex head it's $19.99 at Sears

      those sears stirpped bits are awesome! the other day I had a striped screw and used a metal bit that was the size of the screw body. I dont recommend that at all. get the sears thingy.

      and not for nothin' but...how did you strip them? They just hold that plastic cover on. You really don't need to reef down on them.

      probably used the wrong size/measure wrench... Mine were on there pretty good when I first took them off, though.




      Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.
