Ok, so this is how the header lined up. needed quite a bit of cutting+welding

Also, my mechanic had some nitric acid. Nitric acid reacts violently with non-stainless steel. Guess what happened when I dabbed a little on the stock downpipe? VIOLENT REACTION. That's all Im gonna say.

Its not a perfect world. I also had a local muffler shop adjust/butcher the header after the collecter on my z16xer manifold. In the end i was happy but get ready for an increase in noise, and the car will run like crap and die out because of the new airflow. I did the idle relearn procedure of 10 seconds in the acc position 10 seconds off, repeat then let car run till it reaches temp. (This is on the site here in more detail) Let us k ow how it all works out.

It never ran like crap. I think the trifecta tune prevented that?

Weird, I could've sworn that I've been driving around the past year with a BNR sonic header

I can paste the email and show what they said. Did you have to do any modifications to the header to fit your aveo what year and model is your aveo and by chance do you have a part number

Bnr only sells one sonic header. So I don't have a part number but that's not really necessary. Every other question you asked is answered in this thread lol. Too bad a lot of the pictures no longer work. I had to modify the midpipe a bit to get it to line up to the factory flange under the car. My car is a 2010. Did you talk to jerry?

no i don't know who the person was. So the mid pipe is that the section of pipe that connects to the rest of the exhaust under the car. Would be nice to buy if it bolts right up to the engine with no problems other then the mid pipe. Could you possibly just make new exhaust from the header on to compensate instead of cutting the mid pipe
