The aveo is a 2005 the engine 2006

The cable is coming from a black electrical box just bellow the battery under the metal tray. It looks like there used tobe a sticker on the black box that says if removed voids warranty if that helps.

Does the car have cruise control? Because what you described sounds an awful lot like it is a cruise control servo motor.
