      cai Bypass valve.

      does anyone run a cold air intake with a bypass valve? if soo cna you post some pics i have the aem cai and i live in michigan and im trying to prevent hydrolock.

      it just goes between the 2 pieces of pipe like a silicon connector, but it is shaped that will allow air in for the filter stops sucking.

      the Aem is a one peace intake,so im trying to fina a good place to cut the pipe to put it in.

      do it about were the short ram intake filter sits. which would be about 1/2 way up, but still in front of the strut tower.

      honestly though, unless your intake filter is below the lug pattern of the wheels. you don't need it. or if you dont have a lot of standing water in your area. for where it looks like the filter is on the AEM intake you would need to be in over a foot of water before it would hydrolock.

      the only reasoning im looking into it is because im gona lower my car too, and the aem filter sits really low as it s.
