From my own testing I can say that intake air temperature while driving with a SRI is darn close if not right at ambient temp. When you're stopped the engine bay will heat up and you'll be sucking warmer air, but as soon as you get moving again the engine bay is so leaky air wise that it cools back down. Of course CAI will always give you cold air which will lead to more power, but it is going to be hard to tell. A bigger effect probably comes from how long and what diameter the intake pipe is. Smaller & longer pipes are better for low end power where short and large diameters are better for high rpm power.
