8 or 6 digit engine?

whats the deal with the 8 or six digit engine code or numer? im trying to find my valves or possibly new motor and i dont wanna buy the wrong thing. help me please.

all us aveos are the same, the digit in that position denotes the engine option, but all us aveos had the same engine in a model year.

so alls i gota do is find an 05 aveo motor/ valves?

you can use up to an 08, and transfer some stuff..

or just buy a head, or just valves. I think rockauto has them pretty cheap.

ya i thnk im just gonna replace the valves and get my head resurfaced if it needs it.theres a place thats does heads for like 50 bucks
