I have low mileage... 35,000km or 22k miles. Pretty good reliability. Only problems is the ecu hates cold weather and the alarm module is dead. Warranty will cover the module :)
2004 aveo 45k miles..no real problems except for a squeak in the front suspension.
2004 Aveo Sadan JUST hit 79,000 miles i bought it at 63,000 so 16,000 miles in just over 1 year last october was 1 year
well o6 aveo picked it up with 48 miles 16,665 miles a year later 37t mpg runs great wife loves it people seen it at work and they had to get one. 3 at the hospitals lot. We try to park side by side.. :D
I live about 2 hours from where I work once a month and in the 1 1/2-2 years that I have had my car I have not had any problems with her yet. :)
I have 2005 SVM Aveo with aproximately 63,000 miles. Nothing but regular scheduled maintenance. I drive 60% highway, 40% city.
I have a 93 model with 245,576 miles... damn that's a lot...
oh wait, that's my Jeep... The Aveo... umm... doesn't have any miles on it... It's still at the stealership... The motor I am using for fabbing has about 28000 though...
might not be highest- but i got 20k in one year.
that means i WIN 79000 Miles
2005 bought in july mine has 72,000kms i win mines newer lol
Sorry dude i have 79,000 MILES and it went by milesQuote:

got ours new in 04 and now have 56,000miles.
On our 3rd set of tires, had to replace a couple rims (bent). Clock resets, and had to replace the upstream o2 sensor. Need to replace the thermostat/housing. Timing belt/waterpump getting done in the next couple weeks. Also need to replace the serpentine belt soon.
08 Just it 1k lol
i Still WIN 79,300 miles NOW
So what has your experience been, mechanically... did you or the previous owner replace the timing belt?Quote:

the timming belt was replaced before i got it i replaced the belt and the thermastat housing. i had a problem with the A/C but it was a quick DIY job sot a ton of crap i want to replace the timming belt again about 99,500 or so if i keep the car.
Update on mine... 36000 km. Had to replace the hood switch and terminals for the alarm. While doing so they found TSB 06-08-56-001.
Also had to replace a faulty throttle positioning sensor. Luckily for me, they had all the parts in stock. Everything under warranty.
i had my swift from 10 km on the clock for 4.5 years now, and im at 28 000km now, and nothing ever went wrong with the car (knock on wood)
deniswhite1, that's a nice looking Swift+.
I get the feeling that the silver color changed from "Galaxy" to "Cosmic" (these are the Aveo colors) and yours is the earlier, warmer silver. Sweet.
I tend to feel that the 5door's looks really benifit when it has the alloys, the rear spoiler, and the fog lights -- the sunroof helps, but isn't as critical. Nice photo.
thanks :DQuote:

I average around 23-26mpg but all I do is stop and go, the only time my car has seen the highway was when I drove it home from the dealer with 14 miles on it  the Aveo is strictly a work car. Believe me though, with the driving I do that is a pretty good mpg.. My Taurus that the Aveo replaced got between 9-12mpg :? (it wasn't running right, and it hurt my wallet with the poor mpg so I decided to replace it)
I've changed the oil every 3,000 miles, and changed the air filter to a K&N at 20k. I'm sure there are some other things I should do. I guess I'll look into it's maintenance schedule.
Hi to all. My Kalos (i'm italian) has 70.650 km.
My 06 has 40,500km. Only things replaced so far are tires
hope to see ya at the meets this summerQuote:

No I win 108K miles! See above post!
pcm84,
I think you mean Swift+. You have "Sprint+" in your thread title.
I just hit 137k miles. 2 sets of tires, one temperature sensor, replacing my thermostat housing tomorrow ( it cracked in half this evening, leaving me stranded ). Overall a great little car.
38k km and here is the run down on the problems I've had...
Needed computer upgrade for cold weather starting problems.
Speaker blew.
Door handle was loose.
Hood alarm switch.
Needed throttle body replacement, sensor was defective.
Alternator bearings went and belt was defective.
Fan resistor, overheating engine.
That is what it is so far. Not too impressed.
I can hear the release bearing pretty good too.
55,555 miles since april of 04
problems:
-o2 sensor gone bad
-tensioner pulley broke #-o i guess thats what happens when you make something out of plastic
now the way i beat on my car and how well its held up I am pleasantly surprised with it and I am content to drive it til this thing falls complete apart
Does 200 count?
:joker:
2006 Chevy Aveo LS Icelandic Blue
Bought in June, 2006= 0 miles
as of march, 2008= 42,730 miles.
The Question is "WHO HAS THE MOST MILES ON THERE CARS?" not the least not i got a bunch in the quickest time it's the MOST miles NOW that is all nothing more. and it's MILES not Kilometers how hard is this? look at the dash in there you will find the odomiter. Read what it says. if you live in the U.S.A. then i bet it will be in MILES if you like in CANADA or any of the countrys in the far east then it will be in Kilometers if you have Kilometers then here is a web page to help you find out the milage

80,559 Miles and still counting
80,559 mi. = 129,647.143 km
Mine's an '04 Swift, has approximately 127,000km(78,914mi)
Mines an 04 Aveo sedan purchased in July of 04 and I just hit 83,100 miles. On my second set of tires, and I changed my brakes at 75000 miles. Hey, its my commuter car and I absolutely love the car. Worth every dollar.
