if you need help replacing the speakers let me know, those little 4.25" speakers in the front will blow easily once you start putting more power to them, i switched them out and put 6.5" in there but you have to make 3/4"+ spacers...

and now i just have my ipod in my little cubby hole under the head unit i drilled holes in the back of that so i can fit any wires i need to through it and i can hide stuff better

Yep..velcro b/c I take it off to go to the gym so i just unvelcro it.

I actually just changed the way I mount my ipon..i had it coming out the sideplate panneling piece. Now I took off the center console again and moved my hazard light button over to the right hole and have the ipod coming up through the middle hole and it's velcroed inbetween the two air vents but it doesn't interfere with them..i'll attach pics..it's a much better spot than before..easier to see and reach.

Hope your having fun with your Aveo. You should get a Blue cover for your Ipod, so it fits in better.

I know..i hate those buttons..I hate that they put something there that there is no use for..thats why i figured i'd bring my ipod up through one of them..but I get bored quickly so i'm sure the ipod will make it's trips around my car before I find a final place for it. Let me know when you figure out what to put in those holes b/c I've been trying to find something..i see a lot of gauges put in them but...ehh..

yea im not a fan of how the gauges look there personally, and really i dont care all that much about anything going on with the car but i'll def update on what im thinking... right now i need front struts bad so im trying to find those :-p
