Forged titanium wheels?

Does anyone here have forged titanium wheels on ANY of their cars (Aveo or not)? I had them on a few of my Ducati motorcycles (forged magnesium), but never on a car. What do they weigh with rubber? And how did you like the handling?

Those would be a **** ton of money and I am pretty sure they are too soft for automotive use. Dont quote me on that tho. I know that the Lotus Elise has Magnesium wheels.

yea they use magnesium for the lightest automotive wheels I have seen

I think my 17 inch OZ ultraleggra is titanium. But not sure whether they are forged. But they are not that light, its 6.3Kg I think.

you know, round ones that have rubber mounted to them that hold air, with wheel weights on them!

Well, I guess there are no titanium wheels. . . boo hoo. Kinda Unobtanium.

Not that I could afford them. If there were I'd bet they would cost around 10,500.00 us each rim.

On a motorcycle the benefits of a super light wight alloy rim and tire are tremendous. Totally transform a bike's handling on the track (and even on the street).
