ok, but what about for a "simple" install device that just uses the OBDII plug for monitoring (mountable in car) ?
Re: DashDyno and ScanGauge II or Other Gauge
actually what i like about the auto xray is that you can plug and unplug it whenever, u can check ur CELs, and if you really wanted to, u can use velcro and put it somewhere. its a great OBD II scanner. u can also see ur fuel trims, what ur voltages are of certain sensors like ur O2 and u can see how advanced or retarded ur timing is, temps, blah blah blah. basically u can check alot of ****. u can also clear ur own CELs and such. then when ur all done, pack into nice lil case and put in trunk or garage.
edit:
Autoxray 6000 scan Collects All Values from Vehicles On-Board Computer.

Re: DashDyno and ScanGauge II or Other Gauge
I'm looking to buy a ScanGaugeII and wondering where is the plug? Is it where most are near the steering column?
Re: DashDyno and ScanGauge II or Other Gauge
yes, just under the lip of the dash in the center.
