      most insurance companies have a certain percentage ranging from 60-85%. If the damage is at or above there percentage they have of the value THEY give to the car then it is totaled.

      It is also based by state. Some states have laws saying the percentage before it is totalled.

      the airborne guys SAID that the wheels locked up and they lost control when they were on the highway. both of them were ok, they were walking around and what-not, but our mechanics weren't very happy...they were called in at 10pm on a weekend to recover it and didn't leave until around 5am....I know who's buying US Milkshakes next week! :P

      aveosssupercharged, does your alarm still activate...because after my accident and my hood barely rippled and my alarm wouldnt work. my dad got a chance to look at it and appearantly theres a little button the hood pushes against that allows you to activate it so unless it is pushed down u cant activate the alarm...so just a heads up incase yours isnt working

      that is true^

      ive had the hood popped and in my brilliance and out of habit i pushed the button on my key as i was walking away and heard it lock but no chirp. wtf? looked at it a while later and decided hey, close the hood. closed it and it worked and then i saw the lil black nub after i opened it again. aaahhhhh...
      You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

      well i was at home doin some **** to it and i went to walk in the house and its just habit for me to hit the lock button my car key and then it made me curious as to why the alarm didnt arm.
