what are some ways to improve my gas mileage im getting about 30 mpg now I drive 90 mile round trip to work an every little bit help I am getting a k&m air filter this weekend to hopefully assist any suggestions

Sounds similar to my situation, drive about 60 miles round trip to work and back. Have an 04, 5 speed. Get about 33 mpg, on fairly level terrain, no too many hills. Have had the car about 6 years, and it averages about the same mpg over the years.

Try inflating your tires to 40 psi. You didn't say whether it's an automatic or a manual, but with either you can coast in neutral to a stop.

You can run the skinniest tire/contact patch that will fit and run at 40psi as already stated. Also keep highway speed under 55 and it will sip gas. If it's a stick there are many tricks to shave more mpg. Have a look at the ecomodder website, tons of info.
