2010 Aveo repairs first 2000 miles.

Well I am at the dealer waiting for some warranty work to be completed.

The OnStar unit never worked from the dealer and since the first year is free I wanted it fixed.

Also the blower for the HVAC only worked on high after the first week of driving it.

Brought it to the dealer and they replaced the relay. it worked for 10 minutes minutes on all blower speeds then next day dead. Only worked on high again. You don't realize how nice variable speed blower settings are until you drive 140 miles a day for work. It is all or nothing and can drive you nuts.

So today the parts came in and they are replacing the blower motor itself and the relay. Hopefully this solves the problem. Strange to be bad already and thank goodness for warranty.

We'll see what happens when I pick up the car. Thank goodness for free wifi also.

After 16 bags of leaves were mulched and bagged I made room in the garage so I can finally give the Aveo a proper home in preparation for the winter ahead. No more scraping the window every morning to go to work!

Sounds like u got a electrical short somewhere, my friend Explorer had the same issue, it took a few visits before the dealer was able to figure out where the problem was... sucks! I hope u got another car or a loaner while it get fixed.
