2004 or 2007...

Greetings,

I'm new here and hoping for some friendly buying advice. I'm in the market for a used car and I have my eye on two Aveos for sale in Denver, Colorado: a 2004 and a 2007. Both are hatchbacks. The 07 goes for $5100 and the 04 for $4900.

I need a reliable commuter -- I drive 54 miles to work in Cheyenne, Wyoming, about 110 miles per day round trip. I'll spec out the two cars I'm looking at and await comments and advice. Thanks!

Obviously, the 2007 is 3 years newer, but I'm not sure how much that matters... the main thing that concerns me is the timing belt, which I understand is an issue with these cars. Are there other issues I should consider?
