I havent been on here in soo long. I didnt even know the forum has been operational. Last I remember it had been pretty much locked up to get people to migrate over to the other Aveo forum. Alot of people where lost in the move I found.
Personally i prefered this forum, i mean it was research on here that convinced me to get an Aveo.

BTW just (finally) found confirmation that my auto trans is electronic controlled. Anyone heard of an official reprogram being applied to this? The stock shift algorithm seems very strange, going up and over a grade causes some weird selections in the higher gears - racing along in 2nd then upshifting to 3rd and immediately on up to 4th. Strange, certainly not what I would have done manually. Program works quite well for light throttle acceleration - well spaced shifts.
