Viola! I was off for the holiday so I made time to install the tower brace. Please excuse the dust and dirt, this is my (obvious) daily driver. Gosh I don't think I have even had the hood open since I changed the oil last Feb. No complaints!! ;)
Install was a snap. I found a tiny stud on the driver side in my way, that locates the ECM mount bracket. One zap with the 'wheel of death' and I snipped it flush, it still locates the bracket, but gets flush out of the way. I went ahead and put a tiny drop of thread locker on the nuts, and torqued them to 40 ft pounds, probably overkill, but I don't want it moving around. Sure spiffs up a dull engine bay. Stiffened up the frontend as well. I dig it! - Now I have to wrap up my nose job and paint the new bumper, hood, and install my new grill. Soon!
