      Angry Timing marks help!!!

Ok I tried to find a clear picture of the timing marks for a 2009 LT Aveo the pictures onlines do not show clear as to what is under the huge arrows. one gear has a circluar bump and other has a small circle indent are these the two that are suppose to line up together in the middle? Anyone has a clear picture from repair manual that shows the actual gears and the exact marks both have lot differnt marks on them but which marks are suppose to lineup? Thanks for your help. I found another picture online and hear is what my gear look like minus that red thing in middle. Only thing the information says it is for a 1.8 4 cylinder. It also shows some marks on cam sprocket that suppose to lineup as well is this more like mine?

That is correct. The timing marks don't line up perfectly. UNLESS you do your timing job without the cam locking tool. Like I did. Then they could line up perfectly until you pull the pin on the tensioner pulley.

Also the torque specs for the pulley bolts are 15 lb-ft. Plus 120 degrees plus 15 degrees. NOT 35 lb-ft like the instruction sheet from the AISIN kit says. You don't want to follow the instructions and break your pulley bolt off in the block like I did.
