Multi function for radio on steering wheel not working

Hi All, my 2013 Aveo 1.2 petrol has a problem. the audio controls on the right hand side of my steering wheel don't work at all. none of the controls on the right hand side of the steering wheel work. Al the controls on the left hand side (cruise control) work fine. It's been like that since I bought it last year. Would anyone know what might be wrong - or where I should start troubleshooting, please. Many thanks, Dave

My guess would be a clock spring failure
