Air bag light on. No code

Hello, I have a 2007 aveo and my air bag came on suddenly. I took it to the chevy dealer and they told there were no codes. Any idea what could be the problem? Thanks.

The first place to check, is under the front passenger seat. Sometimes the wires can unplug, or break.

On my 2009 Aveo the power steering pump belt broke and severed the two tiny wires for the crash sensor near the passenger side headlight. That caused the airbag light to come on.

By the way, the best way to install and remove the power steering pump stretch belt is to loosen the main serpentine belt so that the water pump pulley turns freely. Then it is easy to remove and install the power steering pump belt.
