Re: Where is the Fuel Filter.....
Frame rail , left rear near left rear tire.
Go buy the filter for your aveo and jack your car up. look and compare the filter you get from store. you'll need 2 wrenches.
make sure you take the gas cap off so it releases the pressure a bit.
For safety reason, disconnect battery. i don't , but you're suppose to.
i hope this help....

Re: Where is the Fuel Filter.....
The Daewoo service manual for the kalos suggests that there is an inline fuel filter. I'm pretty sure its mounted to the firewall, behind the engine. ('06)
I think the thing in the tank people are refering to is the pump sock. I could be wrong
Thats accessed from an access point in the interior (5 door)

Re: Where is the Fuel Filter.....
On 04-05 Aveo. There is filter on the fuel pump assembly. It presses on, but based on all the work required to get at it, it's basically a non-serviceable item.
Since I'm having to replace my fuel-pump assembly, I'll post all the nitty-grity photos once my replacement arrives.
