So my mom had a 2006 aveo and they told her it was the IAC and they want to charge her about $400 just to put it on and everything. Now I see it for way cheaper to buy it and put it on myself, but where is the IAC on this car? I can find it on my Camry just fine but cant seem to see it on hers, any ideas? maybe pics to help me out thanks.
i believe it is on the throttle body?

yea thats what i thought, wasnt too sure, its the part with the metal hose thing right?
or is it that part where the air intake connects?

I'm pretty sure you have to buy the whole throttle body if the IAC is broken. Check with dealer.
I leased Pontiac Wave from September 2006 to August 2011.
well they tried to tell us something like that, but i personally think the dealer is trying to just make money like always, so ima try and clean it first
