On my way to have my second wheel bearing replaced next week. 2007 Aveo 5 with 53,000 miles on it; driven gingerly by the way. First one went at 41,000 miles (just out of warranty ). I am sorry but this reeks of engineered obsolescence. Plus the fact they are a bitch to change yourself. Oh and the interference timing belt issues. Had mine done at 50,000 just to be safe. Flippin' joke. GM had to make money on this car and it was not at time of sale it was maintenance. Cars paid off though, hopefully it will last long enough to drive it into the ground.
