Hey guys
I got a problem with my headlights, specifically the dims. A few days ago while drivin at nyt, the dims just switchd off or died on me, but the brights still work and im using Osram bulbs on my Chevy Aveo 09.
The bulbs probably lasted 6 mnths, which it shudve been mre, this was my 3rd set of bulbs in 3 years. When i went to go buy another set, the salesman told me its a common situation with the GM cars.
Does anyone know whats the cause and or possible solution?

Are they OEM or are they the "whiter brighter" bulbs? The OEM bulbs should last alot longer than that but the other bulbs do die out alot quicker than OEM. You may want to check your wiring! maybe a loose connection causeing more stress on the filaments. The lows going out and not the highs atleast gets you home. Good luck!!

how many watts are your bulbs? did you touch them with you hands putting them in?
is your daytime running light disabled?
