    Thread: Did some damage underneath aveo 2010

      The flex was hanging and not attach anymore to the pipe. They told me I had to change the whole flex pipe assemblie. I do not know how it happen. The mechanic told me it's maybe the rust... The picture below show exactly what they changed including screws, bolts and gasket

      Although replacing the entire line is not a bad thing (just expensive) dealers will never present the option to cut and weld a new flex pipe for alot less money.       After what I saw (your youtube video)... I am glad I paid more to get the whole part changed...

      For someone who may be on a tight budget the option I presented is probably much more welcoming than unnecessarily replacing the whole line.
