Check engine light Code P0449

Hi,

I got a check engine light this week. I read the code and it is a P0449 EVAP system. Where do I locate the solenoid for this on the car? Any tips would be appreciated. I got a 2010 Aveo 5-spd.

I'm not sure. Best bet is a repair manual like haynes.

I just checked my 2010 and it looks like it should be covered in plastic behind the passenger rear wheel. Here's a 2005 video. Same location, but a little more exposed from the looks of it.

On my OBD II scanner EVAP_PCT is displaying a value, so the sensor works....if I got a value doesn't it means I got a good solenoid too?
