About LinkBacksI have an 09 aveo5 LS, i changed my oil with royal purple at 14,450 miles and my service oil change light just turned on halfway home at 15,650 miles... it was my first oil change since i purchased the car. Any ideas?

Mines always comes on the day after an oil change. I just slap the pedal and keep track myself.
could be low, dont know why that would be though

And like the guys above said, has the oil been checked? have you checked for any leaks? what weight of oil did you use? And "CHANGE OIL" light sounds like something they added for the second gen? I don't recall having that light at all..
turn car to on position with engine off and press gas three times and it should blink until you turn it off.. andter that its reset =] thank you mccredy motors of sherburne!
thats cool, but did you check your oil levels and such? Must have come on for a reason

oil was fine it just popped on thats all the dealer never reset it haha so it just went off normal
