Central locking not working at all.

Hi guys, the central locking on my 2010 Aveo does not work at all.

Whether it be by locking manually with a key or by pushing down the actuator pin thingy.

I bought the car without the remote key (I guess that the owner lost it). So I can't test I'd the remote key would lock. Surely locking it with the pin or with a key in the drivers door should lock it?

It is completely dead the pins don't even move at all. Any ideas?

To help better diagnose the problem, i suggest you remove the 2 fuses for the Power Door Locks and the Remote Keyless Entry. The fuse panel is on the side of the dashboard.

If after you remove the fuses, and you can move the door locking pin up-and-down, then the problem is electrical. The door lock actuator inside the door panel is keeping the solenoid from moving (releasing).

If after you remove the fuses, and you still cannot move the door locking pin up-and-down, then the problem is mechanical. The mechanical door lock assembly is seized.

      That's my suggestion.
