      CEL after Consistent Misfires

      The Stitch:

About 3 months ago I started getting a CEL, didn't think too much of it, then it got worse, started getting it all the time but a significant lose of power, it was almost to the point the car might have stalled.

I replaced the factory spark plugs (had NGK Iridiums), factory wires (had Magnecor) and cleared codes, continued to still have problem. The code was for misfires in 2 cylinders.

Got my exhaust checked for any leaks in case it was a back flow problem or something like that, NADA.

Continued to get the CEL, took it to the dealer and they replaced the fuel injectors and still got the codes for the misfires.

They had the car 10 days, apparently the problem had been caused by faulty valve seals, they replace the exhaust seals, and all the valve seals (cylinder seals).

Had the car a couple days now and everything seems to be running fine.

glad to hear you got your car back... hopefully it'll be fine now!
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.
