Aveo LS Multiplex bluetooth does not work any more.

Hi guys,
if you can spare some time, i have a question.
I have an Aveo LS Multiplex that comes with a DVD/GPS/Bluetooth/rear camera system like this

Last week, my battery was drained so i used power cables to the battery and with the help of a friend the car engine started.
But from this time on, the bluetooth never worked again.
I can browse in the menus but it keeps showing a message "Disconnect" and pairing/connect does not work.
I tried to reset it from the small hole on the bottome right of the unit, i also pulled out the fuse from the car's fuse box to cut the power but this message is keep showing and bluetooth does not work.
Do you have any ideas what can i do?

I don't have experience with this device but, have you tried to do a factory reset?

There should be option to perform that action in the settings menu.

Just curious. Is this a OEM factory unit? I ask because I don’t know. I know I have a 2din universal headunit in mine that also produces the Chevrolet bow tie on startup. Also what year model is your car?

There is no option for factory reset , only at the bottom right a small hole that does a reset.
This is a OEM factory unit, the car comes with it.

there is any chance this multimedia system to has intergrated battery that holds bluetooth settings? because i noticed that after the reboot it holds also the DVD image that i had inserted and there is not inside anymore, or meaby is direct connected to the main battery and if i disconnect the battery of the car it might do a proper reset?

Unlikely, but it my have a EPROM chip to store that kind of data (also unlikely).

Hi guys, after watching some youtube videos it was pretty easy to remove the multiplex from the car, so i removed it.
I waited few minutes and i plugged it again, but the message on bluetooth menu "DISCONECT" remains.
So the next step will be to remove the power for a few days to see if it has any rechargable battery inside.

it is also spooky that the DVD image i changed like below remains even after the reset also with no dvd inside!!!!

so if it has an EEPROM inside saves also images?
I cannot find a solution to this, if anyone has any advice how to make a proper reset/restore that wipes out the internal memory so i can reactivate bluetooth it would be greatly appriciated

I think it's time to search for a replacement...

The ones with DVD are usually more expensive, though...

i dont care for the DVD, but i will not buy a new multimedia player just for Bluetooth, i will just leave it like this.

Does have anyone any idea how to fix this?
