      2004 Aveo CEL

I just took my 2004 Aveo in for the local I/M test and it failed. This car only has 36,500 Miles. The shop said that I had Code: P0133, P0300, P0700, & P1781. There was NO CEL light on. The shop said that I need to get these problems fixed and that I need to get the CEL light fixed too.
I did some work on this car and cleared the codes but I do not know where the CEL (Check Engine Light) is located? I know that it should be in the cluster but can someone tell me exactly where in the cluster the CEL light is?
      Thanks!

You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

      Re: 2004 Aveo CEL

This car is actually my daughters car but my name is on the title. I rarely drive it, anyway I checked it out this evening and it seems like most of the lights in the clock cluster do not work. The only one that lights up is the one that shows the "Door Open". I'm having some issues with the motor running rough. I plugged in my scanner and I have a P0300 now and it says that the CEL is on. But on the clock cluster there is no light on. The clock works and keeps the correct time but I think that the other part is not working correctly. (Gauge Lights)

As far as the engine having a P0300 (Random Misfire), Could I be having the bad Valve Issue that I have read about? I have checked everything else and everything seems to be in good order. The car only has 36,500 Miles on it. I replaced the Spark Plugs and wires, Took out the Fuel Pump and cleaned the filter/screen. Checked the O2 Sensor too. This car is turning out to be a PITA!
      Any suggestios on these issues?

BTW, The CEL on the clock cluster says "CHECK" on the picture of a engine.
