      09 Aveo5 Spark Plug Replacement

My 09 has 33K on it. Just bought it a month ago. The owners manual's maintenance schedule says I should replace the spark plugs every 25K? It this true?

I've noticed a hesitation on acceleration and sometimes a rough idle on start up. I have a warranty and will take it in if needed, but if the plugs are a maintenance item that has not been done, thought I should start there.

      Thanks!

you can change them anytime, i would say 40k miles for the cheap ones, if you spend a little more money then they last 100k miles plus

Ok, it's close enough. I will go get some. Probably worth spending the money.

      Any recommendations? Bosch Platinum?

i would avoid bosch 100% and go with ngk iridium spark plugs, they are the best around, most people on here have them as well (some aveos come stock with NGK's as well)

you will spend about $8-9 a piece but they last the 100k miles plus, well worth it

I have the bosch platinums sitting in my glove box right now, but thats because we only had those in stock at work and not the iridiums, and saturday was my last day of work there, so last day of discounts
