First official pics of next gen 2012 Aveo - car to be shown in Europe in Oct.

I had the opportunity to speak with my friend Steve Burgess who I went to high school with. He now works for Chevrolet Marketing and told me that he's seen both the 2012 Aveo Hatchback and Sedan up close. He said we're gonna love them and find them quite exciting to drive and own! I'm so stoked and cant wait! They should be out in the showrooms by Fall of 2011.

I wonder if those new engines and transmissions share the same design as the 1st gen models, which could possibly mean a bolt on 6 speed transmission swap for the 1st gen guys!

Cool info. That's two references so far for a release date of fall of next year (the other one being the Canadian "teaser" ad for the Spark & 2012 Aveo)
