      typically with my automatic 04 sedan i get 31 mpg unless i drive faster and then it drops to 29.

      Chevoo-1/2 Chevy, 1/2 Daewoo. I mean like WTF?

      well seems like 550km this tank
      i guess thats not bad for city/highway driving
      just over 1000k on car now

      That is terrible!! What speeds do you drive? Auto or man trans? Are you hard on the brakes? Accelerate fast? I hypermile and if I did all the things I just mentioned I would still get at least 29 or 30.... Might want to take it and get it scanned for and problems. Sorry to hear such bad mpg! BTW driving these things or anyother car for that matter at 70 - 85 mph is going to kill your mpg!
