do you have abs? and by emissions light i assume cel?

if you do not have abs, there is no way for it to signal a light, but you will have problems with two different tire sizes on the same axle..

if you have abs, then if the rolling diameter is enough to cause a speed difference in the abs sensors, that the car cannot correct, then it could trip a light (speculation, i dont have abs on my aveo, and most cars with abs or traction control that do this has a separate brake or traction light).

I live in Sheridan, about 50 miles SW of Portland. We are known for our Federal Corrections Facility and close proximity to Spirit Mountain Casino. I drive the Aveo to work (Beaverton) and back about 95 miles per day, M-F.

Wow, that is quite a drive... But the Aveo should have no problem with it. My commute was 75 miles, and 1/3 of it was slow roads, so it took about 1.5 hours one way...

We have some friends who live in Beaverton and Tiggard (I think that's what's it's called). My wife lived in vancouver, wa area for a while...

I filled up this week with the intent of keeping it at 60MPH on the highway to see if I can exceed 32 MPG. I have a mixed bag of small two lane country roads, city and highway. So far so good, and so hard to be the slow guy on the road. Normally I am a 65-70 guy. Gotta do things to keep the long runs interesting!

I've been meaning to do a test run like that, where I just go driving the I-5 / I-405 loop around Seattle/Bellevue/Renton/Lynnwood and try to keep it under 60 mph.... no luck yet. I start out a tank thinking (I'll drive carefully to see if I can get better MPG)... and forget about it after the first trip.
