Hmmm, I don't get it. Were these sticky thin overlays or were they solid unflexible replacement pieces? If they were overlays AND the graphics match the originals then you should see at least some light through the white graphics. now, if they were solid plastic pieces you are not likely to get any light passing through.

First verify that your cluster bulbs are connected. May be you accidentally dropped a connection.

I did something similar to my 08 Aveo5. They were thin adhesive backed decals in yellow which lay on top of the original tach and speedo. If you compare the graphics on the tach and speedo they are the same as the originals. That is why the light can shine through.

maybe it was poor manufacturing or u may just be off by a lil bit. if u look by the odometer u can see lil blips of light coming thru...
You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

its a perfect fit accept the mph and rpm numbers are in the wrong spot, but the gas and engine temp gauges are right. i bought some led's because the stock lights aren't bright enough

Did you remove the stock (black) faceplates? You need to do so to use these, these arent sticky overlays, they're complete replacements.

The black faceplates come off just by pulling on them, theyre simply glued on, once you take them off all you will see is clear plastic, stick the aftermarkets ones on, you will also need the little black needle resters from the stock faceplates.

If you already did this then disreguard, but i cant understand why your lights would be so dim, my only thought is the green condoms over the stock bulbs.
