Now i need some new wheels!
Quite a few changes recently.
hopefully many more to come.
Nice. I want to get headlights like those, but won't fit my car
Lovin the old ladder truck. What year is it? It's a shame the classics rust like hell up here.
thats my dad's '71 ranger
surprisingly reliable.
especially considering the amount of framing equipment he loads onto there.
I'm not sure how I managed to miss this but...I did. I love white and I still kinda wish I got mine in white, but I do like my midnight blue it looks awesome in the sun and in the dark. It is a bloody pain in the rear to get paint for though. As you can see from my sig, I have a thing (or had I guess) for black and white so as you can imagine, your car is awesome to me.
Clean looking ride, man.
I love the way your ride looks! nice job!
looking good! which rims are those? and also, which lowering springs did you get? im planning to lower my aveo this summer
Great looking car! I'd also like to know what type of rims those are.
I appreciate the compliments.
The rims are Konig,
and the springs are H&R.

A little better of an angle than my driveway..
Nice. Only springs for lowering or complete suspension?
very nice car!
just the springs,
them with the rims and tires
turned out to be low enough
without having to do coilovers or anything else.
Just put in my header today.
That Xiaogary dude is great to work with.

ohhhh yea.
how did you contact xaio?
Through email. Which I found by looking him up on ebay.
Attachment 5278
she has such pretty eyes.
Since you’re inCA with the headers on did you have to put a universal cat on? Do you pass emissions?Or how did you do the set up to pass if you did?
By the way shedoes look good.
i havent put a new cat in yet.
right now im looking at parts to finish out the entire exhaust and i dont think
itll pass emissions here in ca with or without a cat.
so since id have to switch it all back to stock to get smogged anyways..
i may as well go without and save some cash and time. for now.
Hey' like my new strut bars?
Plannin on buyin the other two pretty soon as well.

Finally got those other two strut bars put on.
Plus got myself a cute little magnaflow muffler on there.

I also bought a set of fenders from versus motorsports,
Hopefully I'll have some pics of those up pretty soon.
Now thats a clean 5 for sure now ive got to get those front bars:banghead:
Where did you get this strut bars from?
look up ultra racing on ebay thats where i found them.
they are all on ebay separately, but if you search ultra racing on the site,
they have a thread with a link to their own site.
from there you can buy the whole set for a bit cheaper,
plus the rear anti roll bar will be about sixty dollars lower than on ebay.
the rest are about the same price, i believe.
Since you have had the ultra racing goodies for a bit now, how does the car handle? Had any issues with them? I had a front and rear strut bar on my previous vehicle and they were great looking at getting these. Car is looking great btw.
the car handles great since ive put them on.
definate difference to be felt, and thats having put them on one by one.
i havent been able to go play with it since getting them all on there,
but i can certainly feel how its more prone to sliding than leaning on turns.
it feels great, love it.

theres those new fenders.
i was thinking, because the vents go where the original side marker goes,
could i wire up some sequential blinking LED turn signal strips,
behind the fenders,
so that my vents would light up all cool-like?
yes.
I've been looking at those same headlights. I notice you have a separate control box under your steering column. Was there something preventing you from wiring them directly into your original headlight controls?
Also, I've considered messing with the center control console where it has those black plastic bumps on either side of the hazard lights. It could be nifty to wire in switches like this in their place.
switches there would be pretty neat.
itd be extra cool if someone could find two extra hazard light switches
and just paint them and mount them in those spots.
but it was much easier to wire mine right under the steering wheel.
they arent for the headlights though,
the control box has switches for my aftermarket foglights.
one for the lights, and the other switch for the halo LEDs on them,
which i wired together with the halos on the headlights as well.
Finally found some time to take the car down and paint those new fenders.
I thought is came out pretty well, very minimal work needed.

I tried the whole setup with sequential LEDs behind the vents
to replace the turn signal side markers, but it looked too
over-the-top.
I just mounted the original light behind thee fenders so it glows out of there.
Its pretty neat.
Nice work that car looks nicer every time i see it. Any more plans in the works?
Honestly, i dont know what else I can do to it.
any suggestions?
It didnt come with power locks, so thats definately in my future plans..
Id say a lip for sure. Your lucky your car is whiteyou can easily color match. Its not to low sono rubbings issues. But thats just me.
well i installed my own power locks about a week ago, turned out great.
Honestly, a breeze if youre mechanically inclined in any way.
i have been looking at the kalos lip kit, but it has been very difficult to find.
